Finance Business Partner

Job Summary

This is a commercially focused finance role for a sharp, proactive professional who understands how to partner with business leaders — not just report to them. Based in Dubai, you will work at the intersection of finance and operations within the energy sector, providing financial oversight and strategic insight that helps stakeholders make better decisions. If you come from an energy, infrastructure, construction, or developer background and know how to turn numbers into narrative, this role offers the platform to do exactly that.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to provide financial analysis, planning support, and commercial guidance
• Deliver accurate and timely management reporting, budgets, and forecasts
• Challenge business assumptions and drive performance improvements through financial insight
• Monitor financial performance against targets and highlight variances with clear recommendations
• Build strong working relationships across departments, acting as a trusted finance voice in business conversations
• Support project and investment appraisals within an energy or infrastructure context
• Maintain and improve financial models and reporting tools, leveraging advanced Excel capabilities

Required

• 5 to 6 years of relevant finance experience
• Background in energy, infrastructure, construction, or a developer environment — this is essential
• Excellent Excel skills; you are confident building and working with complex financial models
• Demonstrated ability to liaise with and influence non-finance stakeholders
• Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and in a presentation context
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Preferred
• Professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Exposure to project finance or capital-intensive business environments
• Familiarity with the UAE or broader GCC market
