Finance Manager

Our client needs a detail-driven finance professional to run the engine room of the finance department. You will own the full accounting cycle, from AP and AR through to every transactional input and output that flows through the function.

This is not a role where you oversee from a distance. You will be close to the numbers every day, making sure records are accurate, processes are tight, and errors are caught before they become problems. It suits someone who takes pride in clean books and knows what a well-run finance function looks like.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and keep the general ledger accurate and up to date
• Oversee accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and payment runs
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations
• Take ownership of all transactional finance activity across the department
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close with accurate, timely reporting
• Review transactions closely to identify errors, discrepancies, and control gaps
• Strengthen accounting processes and internal controls to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors as required

 What We're Looking For:

• Fully qualified accountant holding a completed professional qualification, such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, currently working as a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a sharp eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies
• Strong technical accounting knowledge across AP, AR, the general ledger, and reconciliations
• Demonstrated longevity in previous roles, showing stability and commitment
• Currently based in the UAE
• Experience within an MNC or large business, giving you a clear sense of best-practice finance operations
• Big 4 experience is a plus, though not essential
• Experience with a major ERP system and strong Excel skills
