Financial Controller

Job Summary

This is a senior finance role for a technically strong controller who can operate across dual jurisdictions and hold end-to-end responsibility for financial integrity. Based in Dubai, you will lead financial oversight, compliance, and ERP-driven reporting across UAE and KSA operations. If you are ACA or ACCA qualified, fluent in Arabic, and bring hands-on experience with Zakat and VAT across both markets, this is a high-impact opportunity in one of the region's most commercially active financial hubs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full financial reporting cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all entities
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and management accounts
• Manage KSA Zakat filings and audits, and oversee UAE and KSA VAT compliance and submissions
• Maintain and improve ERP systems (Netsuite or equivalent), driving process efficiency across the finance function
• Build and enforce internal financial controls, policies, and compliance frameworks
• Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies across both jurisdictions
• Identify financial risks and implement controls to protect the business

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• ACA or ACCA qualified — non-negotiable
• Fluent Arabic speaker (written and spoken) — mandatory for this role
• Hands-on KSA Zakat audit experience
• Proven UAE and KSA VAT compliance and filing experience
• Strong ERP proficiency — Netsuite or a comparable large-scale ERP system
• Audit background, ideally from a recognized firm or structured in-house audit environment

Nice to Have

• US GAAP experience is an advantage, but not a requirement
