Internal Audit Senior Manager

Our client is a respected boutique consultancy with an established presence in the UAE. As the firm expands its risk and assurance offering, it is looking for an Internal Audit Senior Manager in the UAE who can deliver high-quality engagements and help win new work.

You will lead internal audit assignments from planning through to final reporting. You will work directly with CFOs, audit committees, and senior management. In a boutique setting, your contribution is visible. You will work alongside the partners, shape client relationships, and play an active part in business development.

This role is best suited to someone with a strong consulting firm audit background in the UAE who wants a broader remit than a traditional delivery role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead risk-based internal audit engagements end to end, including scoping, planning, fieldwork, and reporting
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building lasting relationships with senior stakeholders
• Review working papers and deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with internal audit standards
• Present audit findings and practical recommendations to management and audit committees
• Assess internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes across client organizations
• Support business development by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and contributing to client pitches
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and resourcing to deliver projects profitably
• Coach and develop managers and senior associates within the team

 What We're Looking For:

• Currently based in the UAE
• Consulting firm experience is mandatory. You should have worked in a Big 4, mid-tier, or boutique advisory firm
• Proven business development experience, such as proposal writing, client pitches, or account growth
• Solid experience operating at Senior Manager level, or equivalent, within internal audit
• Strong understanding of risk-based auditing, internal controls, and corporate governance
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to advise senior leadership
• A recognized professional qualification, such as CIA, CA, ACCA, or CPA
• Experience serving clients across various industries in the UAE and wider GCC
