Trade Operations Manager

Job Summary

A hands-on Trade Operations Manager role for an experienced investment operations professional with strong exposure to US equity markets. Based in Dubai, you will support the full trade lifecycle, ensuring accurate execution, settlement, reconciliation, and post-trade controls across investment portfolios.

This is a purely operations-focused position, ideal for someone with strong knowledge of Nasdaq, NYSE, and North American markets who thrives in a detail-driven, fast-paced investment environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end trade operations lifecycle, from execution support through to settlement
• Handle trade capture, allocations, confirmations, matching, and settlements
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across investment portfolios
• Liaise with brokers, custodians, and counterparties to ensure accurate and timely settlement
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks, reconciliation discrepancies, and settlement issues
• Maintain strong post-trade controls and ensure operational accuracy
• Support trading and investment teams with execution-related and operational requirements
• Assist with operational research and reporting where required
• Support multi-asset portfolios, including Equities, Fixed Income, and ETFs
• Identify opportunities to strengthen processes, controls, and operational efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in trade operations, investment operations, or middle/back-office functions
• Proven hands-on experience with US Equity trades, particularly Nasdaq and NYSE
• Strong knowledge of trade capture, allocations, confirmations, matching, and settlements
• Hands-on experience with cash and position reconciliations
• Strong understanding of post-trade processes, controls, and break resolution
• Experience working with brokers, custodians, and counterparties
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to resolve operational issues efficiently
• Comfortable working in a role focused strictly on operations and execution support

Preferred

• Experience within Asset Management, Investment Holding, Family Office, or a similar investment environment
• Exposure to multi-asset portfolios, particularly Equities, Fixed Income, and ETFs
• Strong understanding of North American market infrastructure and trade settlement processes
